Pepsi's Aquafina, environment changes in water industry Aquafina is a popular brand of bottled water. It was first distributed in Wichita, Kansas in 1994, and was distributed across the United States and Canada by 1997 and Turkey, and as of 2003, had become the United States’ top-selling bottled water brand in measured retail channels. Aquafina has a market share of 11.3 %. Conclusions ecommendation Aquafina should belong to organizations, such as International Bottled Water Association Aquafina should conduct more research on all aspects of the bottled water process. Aquafina needs to take some initiative in helping to promote the recycling of empty bottles. In the report, I want to focus on the environment of producing bottled water, Aquafina. While I researched on this brand, I found out that Aquafina is one of the best-selling bottled water brands in the US. It could leverage its leadership position in the bottled water segment to capitalize on growing demand for packaged water.Bottled water is one of the fastest-growing segments 8% to 10% annually about twice as fast as other beverages owing to increasing health concerns.

Aquafina is bottled around the country in 33 different locations from municipal tap water. Additionally, I will be discussing the recent boom of the water industry has environmental implications. The amount of natural resources being used to produce the entire bottled water package is extraordinary, and causing a real problem. The environment is also being contaminated on a daily basis with a majority of the bottles being thrown away as opposed to being recycled. Along with the destruction of our planet, plastic bottles and the water contained within them are starting to be seen as a serious health threat.


Aquafina should belong to organizations, such as International Bottled Water Association. Aquafina should conduct more research on all aspects of the bottled water process. Aquafina needs to take some initiative in helping to promote the recycling of empty bottles. Which one you prefer?

We are committed to being a good citizen of the world, protecting the Earth's natural resources through innovation and more efficient use of land, energy, water and packaging in our operations. Environment There could be a better way of showing this information, such as printing it directly onto the bottle. This would not only save an extra step and materials but it would also save the environment from extra waste. Thank for your attention! Question???
