Ribosomes
Ribosomes is : A small cell organelle that is the site of protein synthesis. This part of the cell takes in amino acids to make protien. It looks like tons of red foaties out in the middle of a wide pool.
Nucleus
The nucleus in an animal cell is like the mayor’s office of the cell. Everything that happens in the cell is ultimately controlled by the nucleus and the DNA inside. It looks like this:

Endoplasmic Reticulum
A Endoplasmic Reticulum is an extensive membrane network in eukaryotic cells, made up of ribosome: studded (rough) and ribosome: free (smooth) sections. The ER processes proteins, builds membranes, and detoxifies substances for the cell. This part of the cell looks like
Cell Membrane
The cells membrane is a thin flexible barrier that surrounds all cells and regulates what enters and leaves the cell. It protects the cell from having bad bacteria enter it. The cell membrane looks like a wall that is surrounding the insides of that cell.
Welcome bacteria. Today we will be touring a
Animal cell.
Golgi Apparatus
This part of the cell is an organelle that is made up of stacks of membranes that modify, store, and route the products from the endoplasmic reticulum. This looks like:
Vacuoles
This part of the cell is a membrane. Also known as an enclosed sac that stores a variety of substances, found in eukaryotic cells. This part of the animal cell looks like:
Mitochondria
&
Lysosomes
* Mitochondria is an organelle in eukaryotic cells that serves as the location of cellular respiration.
* Lysosomes is a membrane that is part of an enclosed sac that contains enzymes, found in eukaryotic cells
