The beauty of cloud computing is another company host the applications, they handle the cost of servers, manage the software updates and takes the responsibility to maintain the services. For the users- less investment to buy the servers, no power problem... or cooling... it's very convenient for the remote workers.
Application integration might be an issue if the organisation has one application in house and wants to access the data from another application from cloud.

Data center is the collection of servers, where the application to which you subscribe is housed. IT virtualisation is the solution where many different servers will be hosted into one physical server.

Software as a service (or SaaS) is a way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a service. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you simply access it via the Internet, freeing yourself from complex software and hardware management.

SaaS applications are sometimes called Web-based software, on-demand software, or hosted software. Whatever the name, SaaS applications run on a SaaS provider’s servers. The provider manages access to the application, including security, availability, and performance.

Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a delivery of a computing platform over the web. PaaS enables you to create web applications quickly, without the cost and complexity of buying and managing the underlying software/hardware.
PaaS provides all the facilities required to support the complete life cycle of building and delivering web applications entirely on the web.
Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is available as a service, the developer get full control of the application development and deployment. PaaS enables developers to create custom web applications and deliver it quickly, as many of the hassles like setting up hosting, servers, databases, user interaction process and frameworks are prepackaged.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
IaaS gives the users self-service, on-demand access to the IT resources based on business policy. Automated provisioning lets the users accessing the infrastructure they need in minutes instead of weeks or months. Key advantages of using IaaS are:
