ECONOMIC DEPRESSION
The Struggle To Be Employed In The Modern Economy Unemployment Rate In U.S.
Fluctuates between 2008 & 2010. The rate has decreased in mid-2010 since the highest percentage at the end of 2009. Sean Boyd
Plt: #102 Unemployment Rate In Spain Spain, the Netherlands, and the United States are three countries that have been hit by an increase in unemployment; however, of the three, Spain has the most alarming increase rate and percentage. Those Above The Age of 25 who have or have not received their High School Diploma's.
How high the demand is for a certain job and the employee's skill for that job also determines one's employment. For example, hardwork and skill is required to be a construction worker. Bankruptcy also affects one's employment. Large companies have filed, or are on the verge of filing, for bankruptcy in the past years which raises the rate of unemployment as well. Six Flags In an estimated $2.1 billion in debt
Lost an estimated $100 million between 2007-2009. As of March 1st, 2009, Rite Aid was nearly $6 billion in debt. Ford lost $14.6 billion in 2009, and already had a debt of $15.6 billion.
Conclusion:
Unemployment is a serious issue in both America and other countries, with Spain just being one. There are many other issues connected with unemployment such as education. There is no specific way to rectify the problem; however there are certain things the people, young and elderly, can do in order to avoid future financial and employment mishaps. Things such as furthering their educations, not limiting themselves to one profession, managing their money wisely or, perhaps, considering a financial advisor. Unemployment will most likely be an issue for years to come but it is up to the unaffected to learn from those who have been affected by recession & unemployment. Rite-Aid Ford Motors
