Occupational Stress?

Occupational stress
can affect more than your emotional state.
Ongoing occupational stress can lead to greater risk of cardiovascular disease, especially in obese or workers who do not lead an active lifestyle.
Studies show you will have a lower Life Balance Model score, indicating a higher incidence of stress-related illness.


15%-20% of annual work hours may be lost in heat-exposed jobs, such as factory or outdoor workers, and the numbers are predicted to rise as global warming picks up steam.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy can teach workers to reframe negative circumstances as a challenge to be managed, and is especially useful for emergency and military workers, and other aggressive work zones.
