The Writing Center @ECHS
Writing into the meeting
Reflect on your practice as a teacher of writing. Where are you? Where do you want to go? Where are demands (curriculum, time, student need) pushing you to go?
What potential, if any, do you see for a Writing Center to change your practice as a teacher of writing? Your students' practice as writers? Your school community?
Writing out of the meeting
How is this approach to writing similar to/different than our own? Do we focus on the writing, or on the writer?
How can we train new tutors with this approach in mind?
