Da Vinci thought it would be a great way to make a city where people can work under ground and throw your waste under the city, This concept is the model for our modern day sewer
Plan For The Ideal City

City of the Future
Da Vinci Got The Idea
Da Vinci got the idea of the Ideal city from the plague that killed ⅓ of the human race in Europe. It gave an idea that it will prevent diseases from spreading.
He knew this idea would be great because one his ideas was canals that were connected underground away from the city and separate from the public
He also thought cities should have an area that buildings would throw away their waste and keep it out of the street. This idea later becomes the famous “alley ways” .He also made ideas of where to keep the animals so they wouldn't get the towns dirty .
Alley Ways
Da Vinci Never Got To see The Ideal City
Sadly Da Vinci never got to create his city because his idea was to big for his time but if you want see his Ideal city you can go to many different large cities because they took some of his ideas for the modern cities.
