I hear people are asking me questions so I took the liberty of answering them for you.
1. What is another name for the House of Representatives?
The lower house. I should have been called, 'The Green Machine' but NOOOO, I had to have a mean name.
2. What colour is the carpet and furnishings in the House of Representatives?
Green. My favourite colour! I was born green!
3. How many members of the House of Representatives are there?
150. It took forever to count!
4. How do you become a member of the House of Representatives?
You must be elected in a by-election if a seat becomes available. Ooh! Fresh meat!
5. Who do members of the House of Representatives represent?
One of Australia's 150 electorates.
6. What do members of parliament do in the House of Representatives?
Make and change federal law, by debating and voting on bills.
I'm experienced in having politicians do work. I eat them, well, they walk in and then I wait till they're done so they can leave. I then rinse and brush my teeth for the next day!
