Paragraph #2
What I learned in this lesson was that religious fundamentalism impacted the world in so many ways. It encouraged the Muslims to fight against imperialism. An economic example could be that Tanzania has poor economic growth and it made the religious fundamentalism in Tanzania go high. A physical example is 9/11. Some terrorists physically blew up the towers. And a psychological example is when the U.S. bombed Japan and it gave the effect of leaving the people there with mental problems and physical too. I also learned how the United States and the other countries responded to terrorism by making some stuff very strict. Example is airport security has gotten very strict, they put security on the borders, and also wire hack the phone. So, that definitely made some change.

Paragraph #1
The symbols and images I chose for my quilt all represent the effects of 9/11. It effected the people of the country and the country itself. The quilt goes out to the people who went out to work that day not knowing they wouldn't be back at home with their families. And for the families that had to go through the loss of their loved ones. I have put different types of pictures into creating a memorable quilt!
The first image shows the event itself how the whole building just went on fire from the crash of the airplanes. The twin towers both fell down and many people died from this.
The second image is a firefighter who had gone in the buildings to save people. It shows how the people of our country actually care and aren't selfish.
The third image I chose for my quilt was a peace symbol. I put that there because we don't want war or any type of battle, all the world wants is peace. So many deaths and killings wouldn't be happening if peace existed.
The fourth image is the American flag. Our flag represents freedom. And freedom means a lot to our citizens and country. The 9/11 attack was a big incident for us and it effected us a lot but we still kept strong.
To finish the quilt, I added a 9/11 never forget image. We have not forgotten the lives that have been taken on this tragic event. They will always remain in our heart. May they R.I.P !
