Delphinus The Dolphin Best seen in the early evening of September A greek god Poseidon wanted to marry Amphitrite. Unfortunately she did not want to marry him so she ran away. Poseidon then sent out searchers to find her and Delphinus was the one that found her. Delphinus persuaded Amphitrite to marry Poseidon. She agreed and for Delphinus 's gift Poseidon placed an image of a dolphin in the stars. Alpha: 3.77
