SlJoy McKean and with her help, achieved great success around Australia.im Dusty was born in the 13 June 1927 and died on the 19 September 2003. Slim Dusty was a legendary Australian country music singer. Slim was known to record songs in the legacy of Australian poets Henry Lawson and Banjo Patterson, that represented the Australian Bush Lifestyle, and also for his many trucking Songs.
Slim adopted the name Slim Dusty when he was eleven years old. Slim’s original name was David Gordon Kirkpatrick .
Cathy Freeman is the first aboriginal Australian who won in the athletics in the Olympics.
Cathy Freeman was born on the 16 February 1973 in Slade Point Mackay, Queensland.
