Galileo In 1610, Galileo was the first person to look at
Saturn through a telescope, and he discovered that it has rings. His telescope wasn't good enough to see the rings clearly, he described it looked like the planet had "ears." Interesting Facts *Sometimes viewable by the naked eye.

*Saturn is yellow in color and is believed to be the third brightest planet in night sky.
