THE COST:

slow pay back period/lower rate of return for green investments

Increased cost for some of the raw materials, might exceed existing budget.
The employee’s acceptance to the program.
A slower payback period for green investment.
Benefit intangible to customer.
Marketing the program.
Regional variations in customer awareness.
Regional difference in recycling infrastructure .
has set the standard for the hotel industry to go green

People want to stay at a hotel that does business responsibly
Customers want to stay in in a luxury hotel as well as keep the environmental impact at a minimum. At Kimpton they have the best of both worlds
