There were no major cardiac events after the transplantation during further follow-up period (30-120 days and 4 years after infarction).
The NYHA function class also improved (from NYHA 2 into NYHA 1).

There was a moderate, but significant, improvement of the myocardial function after the intracoronary transplantation of autologous bone marrow stem cells.
