Inventor of Cake Pops
Angie Dudley, also know by her baker name of Bakerella, invented the cake pop in Georgia in 2008.
Cake Pops
Cake pops are minuature cakes on sticks that were invented by a lady called Bakerella in Georgia. They have recieved a lot of popularity and are even featured in a popular chain restaurant.
Starbucks sells 4 different flavors of cake pops - Birthday Cake, Chocolate Cake Pop, Salted Caramel Cake Pop, and Sweet Lemon Cake.
When Cake Pops were Invented
On February 1st, 2008 the Chocolate Cupcake Pop was invented. Now, February 1st is National Cake Pop Day.
Well Known Character Cake Pops
Bakerella has teamed up with Disney and Target to make sponsored cake pops.Some of them are the Muppets, the Target Dog, Despicable Me, The Lorax, and more.
