JFK assassination conspiracy theories
Transcript of JFK assassination conspiracy theories
Most theorists believe that Oswald was not responsible for the assassination, and the theorists that do believe that he was responsible think he had help from the American Mafia, or FBI or KGB.
The reason of assassination is unknown but it could be because Kennedy wanted to stop the Cold War and some say it was because Kennedy supported the invasion of Cuba. The Magic Bullet The bullet that hit Kennedy’s neck, went through his throat and hit Governor Connally in the back. The bullet went in under his right armpit, went out of his right nipple, then it hit his wrist which was on his lap. The journey of the bullet seems unbelievable, however tests and simulations show that it is possible. Lyndon Baines Johnson Conspiracy theory One of the most believed conspiracy theories of all time is the conspiracy of Lyndon Johnson being involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He was a vice president of US during 1961 - 1964 and he became the 36th US president right after JFK was killed.
The reason why he could have ordered the assassination of Kennedy could be his eagerness to become a president, or his involvement in FBI, but the secret tape made by Jacky Onassis, that hasn't been published yet, may explain the involvement of Lyndon Johnson in the assassination. Analysis of the source and the theory Source: http://www.environmentalgraffiti.com/news-10-jfk-conspiracy-theories?image=2 Is the source primary or secondary? The source is secondary because first of all, the conspiracy theory of Lyndon Johnson being involved is not official, and the conspiracy theory was published years after the assassination of JFK, and it is only a belief and does not have any strong evidence that supports it. Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? The source is about the possible involvement of Lyndon Johnson in the assassination of JFK. What reasons does this source give for the assassination? Lyndon Johnson's desire to become a president, or maybe the involvement of Johnson in the FBI Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? The reasoning could be just because he wanted to become a president, but it could also be multicausal because the source says that he could have done it to cover up scandals. From what perspective is this source writing? The author of the article is not credible, because there is no information about him on the internet, and he is not a qualified researcher, therefore the only perspective he could be writing from is his own perspective. In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? The information on this source is really brief, and does not include any strong evidence, when other websites show evidence such as a a security guard winking at Lyndon Johnson, but the other websites unlike this, contain information that does not make sense at all What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? As I already mentioned, the author is not credible because he is not a qualified researcher, he does not have any strong evidence so we have to suppose it is his own opinion The UFO Cover-Up theory A letter written by John. F Kennedy to the CIA Director demanded extremely confidential documents about UFOs just 10 days before his assassination. The conspiracy theory states that the president was assassinated so that he would not find out the truth about aliens. Apparently, John F. Kennedy was showing too much interest about aliens. Analysis of the source and the theory Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1378284/Secret-memo-shows-JFK-demanded-UFO-files-10-days-assassination.html#axzz2K3NdTyed Is the source primary or secondary? I think the source is secondary because no one ever knew about the documents before they were published years later therefore the story was not written exactly when the event happened however there is evidence such as photos and documents that simulate our presence in the event therefore it could also be primary Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? The source says that CIA, most likely the Director of the CIA is responsible for the assassination of JFK What reasons does this source give for the assassination? President Kennedy showed too much interest towards the aliens and UFO that apparently were found in the territory of the US Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? Yes it could, because there was another branch of the conspiracy theories where JFK wrote a letter to teh Soviet Union about space activity and the Soviet Union could have assassinated JFK too. From what perspective is this source writing? However the author is not credible because it is just a conspiracy theory and none of the conspiracy theory writes are credible, the author writes from an unbiased perspective by giving multiple causes of the assassination in the same conspiracy theory and giving strong evidence such as documents. In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? The information on this source is really detailed, shows multiple evidence for each cause of assassination such as photos and documents and when I looked at other sources, most of them had only one cause and maximum of one evidence (usually no evidence at all) What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? The evidence is really strong with the signature of president Kennedy in the document, and I believe the documents are real however I don't believe JFK could have been killed because of UFO interests because other CIA employees knew about aliens too, so why aren't they killed? But, overall, I think the source is reliable because the evidence is clear The Mafia Conspiracy Theory The conspiracy theory states that member of the US Mafia were involved in the assassination of president Kennedy and they killed him as a payback for JFK and his brother trying to get rid of the criminals. It is possible that FIdel Castro was involved in the assassination too because of his assassination attemts. Analysis of the source and the theory Sources: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/did-the-mafia-kill-jfk/story-e6frf92f-1225712969000 Is the source primary or secondary? Both of sources in my opinion are secondary because they were published three decades after the assassination and both source provide lack of evidence. Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? What reasons does this source give for the assassination? John F. Kennedy's and his brother RFK's plans in Cuba Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? The source says there is only one cause of the assassination which is JFK and RFK secret plans in Cuba From what perspective is this source writing? In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? The information on the source I used was much more clear than other sources because other sources talked about irrelevant things and did not have any evidence. What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? Member of the US Mafia such as Johnny Roselli, Carlos Marcello, Santos Trafficante and so on. The author provided lack of evidence therefore I should assume that the author wrote it from his own perspective The source contains confessing evidence where the criminal confessed about what they did, however we cannot rely just on the confession because it might not be true, but overall the source contained relevant information. The CIA Theory Despite the fact that Robert Kennedy had a high role in CIA, CIA had many problems and disagreements with president Kennedy such as the assassination of the Cuban president Diem and JFK was shocked when he heard that Diem was murdered. The fights and disagreements could be the reason of his assassination Is the source primary or Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? From what perspective is this source writing? In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? The source could be primary because CIA was always there although they don't take responsibility for it, but since the article and the whole story itself was not published right after the assassination, the source is secondary The CIA, in more details, it could be Lyndon Johnson, John McCone and maybe even Robert Kennedy There is only one reason, the disagreements, however it could be because of mroe than one disagreements The source is written in an unbiased form, because it just says what is possible, and it states the evidences clearly even though there aren't many evidences secondary? Unlike other sources, this source gives much more information about the topic and it clearly states the names of people who could have been responsible, or the witnesses, it has links in the names just in case you want to know more about the person. Sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_Kennedy_assassination_conspiracy_theory Although the source is unreliable, it still has really good information in it that really helped to understand what could be true and what couldn't by providing as much evidences and names as possible The KGB Theory The assassination could have been ordered by the Cold War rival and the Russians had good reasons to hate Kennedy such as the Cuban Missile Crisis. Also, there is evidence that Oswald had links with the USSR such as his Soviet wife and he traveled there too. In the picture, you can see Oswald and his wife in Russia. What reasons does this source give for the assassination? Kennedy's disagreements with CIA Is the source primary or secondary? Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? From what perspective is this source writing? In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? What reasons does this source give for the assassination? Source: http://www.environmentalgraffiti.com/news-10-jfk-conspiracy-theories?image=7 The reason for the assassination could be the Cold War between USSR and US, and the Cuban Missile Crisis The source has very good evidences, however it is still secondary because it is something that people came up with later Russian KGB There are two major reasons the Cold War, and the Cuban Missile Crisis and the second one is actually a branch of the Cold War The author is a little bit biased because he is using phrases like 'they hate' which is actually perspective writing It has clear evidences, clear explanations and the information is much more detailed There is a photograph of Oswald with his Russian wife in Minsk, Russia which shows his connections with USSR and this evidence seems legit. Federal Reserve Bank Theory President John F. Kennedy signed the Executive Order 11110 which gave the secretary of the treasury the authority to issue silver certificates. It is possible that Federal reserve bank assassinated Kennedy to keep their power because the president wanted to divide their power with someone else. Is the source primary or secondary? Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? From what perspective is this source writing? In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? What reasons does this source give for the assassination? Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_11110 The source, like most of the other source is secondary, because it was something that people thought about years later, and the only source that is primary is the what was officially proven by the government President Kennedy divided the Federal reserve bank's power with the secretary of the treasury and in order to keep their power, they decided to kill the president The Federal Reserve Bank It is monocausal, because he was killed because of one reason - lack of power for Federal Reserve bank The source is writing from the perspective of a conspiracy theorist Other sources blame the Fed for killing Kennedy, but this source just tells the facts and listed the possibilities. The reason of the assassination makes sense to me because Federal reserve bank consists of powerful bankers all around the world therefore they can easily assassinate whoever they want with the power they have. Is the source primary or secondary? Who does this source say is responsible for the assassination of JKF? What reasons does this source give for the assassination? Is this reasoning monocausal or multicausal? From what perspective is this source writing? In what ways is the information in this source different or similar to other sources? What reasons do you have for believing this source is reliable or unreliable? Source: http://investigation.discovery.com/investigation/crime-countdowns/conspiracy-theories/conspiracy-theories-01.html The source is primary, because the information that is in the source was published right after JFK's death and since then, it is still called 'official' story. They say Lee Harvey Oswald is responsible because he took the shot however there could have been more than one shooters. The reasons are unknown, but theorists believe Oswald had help from CIA, Mafia, or Russian KGB, but those theories were not oficially published Analysis of the source and the theory Nobody knows why Oswald shot Kennedy, so we cannot say if it was multicausal or monocausal however very few believe in the fact that Oswald shot Kennedy and the conspiracy theories are multicausal The author of the article is writing from a universal perspective because he is not sharing his own opinions, but he is just telling the facts The source is very similar to other sources because this is teh most popular theory, but I chose this source because it was credible (Discovery) and had really good information The source was reliable because it was published by Discovery, and also the whole story was proven by the government although it may not be true This video proves that the magic bullet theory
actually happened disregarding what theorists
say about it. (Watching this video is optional, but it
is really interesting) : This is an image of congressman Albert Thomas winking at Lyndon Johnson after he has sworn as a president Conclusion Overall, I think all of the theories I have mentioned are realistic and they could happen except for the UFO cover-up theory which doesn't really make sense to me because why would the CIA hide the UFO information from the president. Also in most of the theories, CIA is mentioned. In the LBJ theory, he assassinated the president with the help of CIA, In the UFO theory, CIA killed him, in the Mafia theory, the Mafia killed JFK with the help of CIA, in the CIA theory, the answer is obvious, and I don't think the Russians could kill JFK without the help of someone native to America, most likely some worm working in CIA or maybe even the whole CIA, in the Federal Reserve Bank Theory, the federal bankers had enough power to assassinate the president but they still needed help from someone in the government and therefore I believe CIA was involved in the assassination of Kennedy no matter what the story of the assassination was because if Oswald was a loner then he would not have any reason to kill the president, and even if he had a motive, he was killed before his trial and interrogation which rises the suspicion, and in addition to that, Oswald was screaming "I'm just a patsy" which means that there was someone much more powerful than him that most likely ordered the assassination. In my opinion, and probably as a fact, the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy remains one of the most interesting and uncovered assassinations of all time http://theintelhub.com/2011/08/08/jackie-kennedy-believed-lyndon-johnson-killed-jfk-as-evidence-of-johnson-complicity-continues-to-mount/
