They can be found in ocean zones Bathayal, Abyssal,and even as deep as the Hadal zone.
Sea pigs are most commonly found in varias areas of oceans Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and the southern ocean of Antarctica.
However, sea pigs are not found in the northern part of Atlantic,the eastern part of Pacific, and the Central and South America oceans. OINK!! OINK!! OINK!! OINK!! OINK!! PREY Sea pigs do not attack their prey but they extract organic particles from deep sea mud usually from WHALE CORPSES!
They feed by using tentacles to push the food into their mouth.
Their feet help them to smell their food particles. OINK!! OINK!! OINK!! PREDATORS Sea pigs are found in numerous numbers on the bottom of the ocean floor so they are a substantial part of nutrients for deep sea predators.
Sea pigs are actually a great food source for parasites. YUM! YUM! YUMMY!! BUFFET!! CHARACTERISTICS The physical shape of a sea pig can sometimes be flat.
Scotoplanes Globosas are mostly made of water.
Sea pigs are made up of a thin exoskeleton (natural armour).
They walk on several fluid filled legs.
Water cavities within skin are used to deflate and inflate.
Their tube feet are often conceived as antennas.
Fluid filled legs Tentacles that are used to extract organic particles. Not an endangered species but a trawl can catch and kill 300 ! FACTS!
