What a Wonderful World
Louis Armstrong
I see trees of green, red roses, too,
I see them bloom, for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue, and clouds of white,
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky,
Are also on the faces of people going by.
I see friends shaking hands, sayin', "How do you do?"
They're really sayin', "I love you."

I hear babies cryin'. I watch them grow.
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

I have chosen this song to be played during my meal because I want to express to my family how lucky we are to be living in such an amazing world. We must be grateful for what we have and we should share this wonderful world together.
Eat, Pray, Love
Lord, we thank you for the blessing of this day and for this time together as a family.

I give thanks for my sister; my closest companion. I can always turn to her for help when I’m in trouble. I know she will always be beside me.
My mother, for the comfort she gives. I can always trust her to help me through my roughest and weakest times, for she will always stand behind me.
And for my father, for always protecting me. He always thinks of his children first and instils the good moral of a human being in us. He will always stand in front of me.

O Lord, we thank you for this wonderful meal and for this hour we can share together.

the candle represents my family. No matter how dark the road we go through, we will always find a way to light it up. When we follow the light, we will be led to each other. It also represents the warmth and hope that we give each other.
Photo Album:
the photo album represents all the special memories we've spent together. It holds many good memories, especially from my youth.
The ritual we did was bowing our heads as we said grace. This is to show the appreciation we feel towards God. When we finish praying, we will all welcome each other to eat, which is something that my culture always does, showing manners.
What problems did you encounter?
The food would sometimes get burnt, so I would have to redo it, and in the end, the food did not turn out 100% perfect. I also had trouble with time management, because it took a longer time to prepare the food than I originally expected.
Was it difficult?
Yes, I found this assignment extremely difficult, since I don't really cook. When I do cook however, it's simple things, like, making rice, cutting vegetables, etc. I have never really cooked full course meals before.
How did your family react?
I think my family was very happy with the results. I believe my mother was especially happy since she didn't have to cook for the evening.
What benefit(s) did you and your family members gain from this experience?
My family and I greatly benefited from this experience because it was another time we got to spend together. I have also improved some skills from this assignment, such as patience, time management, etc.
