Habitat Diet Predators Reproduction Anatomy Classification Sea Anemones Sea anemones are usually
found in shallow waters
and in coral reefs. Also
they are sometimes found
in deeper waters. They
are found clinging onto
rocks or crab shells, but
they are able to bury
themselves in the sand Relationships Sea anemones are carnivors, which means they eat meat. Their diet consists of small fish, mussels, worms, snails, and some types of crabs. Also they eat zooplankton which are very small organisms. The sea anemone doesn't
have many predators.
Only the Grey sea slug,
Tompot Blenny, and Nudi-
branch. Sea anemones have
a good relationship
Hermit Crabs- gives
it food.
Clownfish- the fish
gets protection while
the sea anemone get
Also with green algea-
the green algea gets
a safe place to live, and the sea anemones gets oxygen and sugar from the algea. Kingdom- animalia
Phylum- coelentera (coral, jellyfish)
Class- anthozoa (flower like animal)
Order- actiniaria Anemones are polyps which is a small cartalilage like organism. It has a sticky foot on the bottom which helps it stay in place. In the center of the anemone, their is a small mouth. Also all around the mouth their are tentecales which are equipped with stinging cells. They are used for protection and to catch food. To catch food, the anemone will shoot out an "arrow" filled with toxins. Then the anemone will use its tentacles to bring the paralyzed prey to its mouth. The slightest touch will trigger this reaction. Miscellaneous they can barely move

live up to 100 years old

6 ft.
Sea anemones repoduce during
a full moon or low tide.They
have hundreds of young but only
about a half of them survive.
Sea anemones don't raise their
young. They just let them,
