-Each part of the airplane has an important job.
- Many types of aircraft have
similar functions to airplanes.

Orville Wright
Wright brothers flew the first
airplane called Flyer.
Wright Brothers Flight
FLYER
Had two propellers connected with
extra-long
bicycle chains.
Their first flight took place at Kitty
Hawk North Carolina U.S. on December
17th 1903.
Made by woods and big
cloth.

Flyer's first flight was for 12 seconds and 36.6meters.
But it was great record in that time.

He sketched many flying machine but did not made them.
He tried to fly like bats and birds movement of flapping the wing but by human power. Human power was too
weak to takeoff. So he couldn't succeed it.
The secret is in the wing!

As airplane had to go fast to get
wind, helicopter spins the rotor and gets wind.

To get more lift, you can turn the angle of the rotor a bit. Like an elevator that spins really quickly.

The steering is controlled by changing a tail rotors angle. So
