Cockpit is where pilots sit and drives and controls
every part of the plane.
Spoiler can make the plane slowdown and to go down.
A body of a plane.
Winglet makes a flight smoother.
Horizontal/Vertical stabilizer makes the flight stable.
Rudder is for turning the direction of plane softly.
Elevator can make the plane go up or down.
Landing gear is the parts that is used
for landing and takeoff.
Wood was used for early planes. Light and strong but needs more maintenance.
Aluminum is also light and strong and it is also used for cars.
Steel can be 4 times stronger
and 3 times harder and heavier than aluminum.
Graphite-epoxy is material
that is mixed with many materials.
Easy to change shapes.
Titanium is strong as steel but
lighter. It won't get bad by heat
and it lasts longer than steel or
There were many crashes.
Some of it changed the making of the airplanes.
So they changed the window square to round.
People tested the plane and found that crack were from windows.

In helicopters a propeller is used
vertically instead of horizontally.
We need wind!
As airplane had to go fast to get
wind, helicopter spins the rotor and gets wind.
To get more lift, you can turn the angle of the rotor a bit. Like an elevator that spins really quickly.
The steering is controlled by changing a tail rotors angle. So
they push the air behind.
Which way to go?
The movement of going front, back, right,
and left is controlled by tilting the rotor.
Osprey has a 2 modes
Osprey is like an aircraft
combined with airplane and helicopter.
When Osprey is fast enough, it is ready to tilt
the propeller to horizontal.

A helicopter would not crash
even the engine is off.
How does it work?
By controlling the angle of propeller and
using a wind to slow down.
