Do Certain Colors Help People Remember Things Easier?
the problem
Have you ever needed to remember something so badly you tried everything to remember it? Maybe you wrote a song, or maybe you read it over and over for hours until your eyes could no longer stay open? Whatever you do, haven’t you ever wondered if there was an easier way to remember things?

If I change the color of the paper words are written on, then will the change in color aid the memorization process of the words?
Color is believed to be the most important visual experience to human beings. It functions as a powerful information channel to the human cognitive system and has been found to play a significant role in enhancing memory performance
The objective of the current research is to underline the impact of color on memory and
explain the mechanisms of how color influences memory and retention.

Other than the obvious effects of memory retention in people who use colors to enhance memory, clinical intervention for people with dyslexia using color have been proven to be effective in reducing their difficulties in reading. The same approach is also used to help autistic patients.

According to Mariam Adawiah Dzulkifli of the
Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences

"Colour helps us in memorizing certain information by increasing our attentional level. The role played by colour in enhancing our attention level is undisputable. The more attention focused on certain stimuli, the more chances of the stimuli to be transferred to a more permanent memory storage."
