Transcript of Germany
Each state of germany has its own accent. Sausages and Sauerkraut, Kartoffelpuffer (potato fritter) and Apfelmus (apple puree),Sauerbraten (marinated beef) and Kloesse (dumplings). The fashion style in Germany goes from casual to elegant. Each state in Germany has their own fashion, called "Trachten". For example Baveria has the leather pants and the dirndl. In the families of Germany there are usually two kids.The families live very close to each other.
On Sundays the whole family gets together and enjoy a nice feast. It is normal that they celebrate holidays together.
The Pope was born in Germany.

1948: In June 1948 the UDSSR (Today Russia) closed the entrance to West Berlin for the first time. 1949: The foundation of the BRD (Federal Republic of Germany)
On the 23 of May 1949, the constitution of BRD became effective, and Konrad Adenauer first chancellor.
On the 7 of October 1949, east Germany and west Germany seperated. They started building the Wall of Berlin in August 1961. 1989: Fall of wall of Berlin.
28 years later in the nights of the 9th and the 10th of November they started taking down the Wall of Berlin. 1990: The 3rd of October became the day of re-unification, because this day was when
they signed the treaty of unification. Since then it is a holiday.
Growing up in Germany, you are really free because Germany is a very safe country. You can walk or ride your bike to a friends house alone. Kids usually play in the woods or in the park. The community offers lots of activities for the children. The three colors are the national colors of Germany. 34.10% Nonreligious
Soccer is the most popular sport in Germany. Thanks to Borris Becker and Steffi Graf, tennis is now available here. In Germany, golf is played mostly by rich people. Team sports like handball, volleyball, basketball ect. is often played in schools and by younger people. Since there are lots of mountains in Germany, hiking is very popular. Ouch!!!!! This flower is the Bluebottle Cornflower.
The flower is purple, pink, and yellow. The foliage season is May-June. It is 50-80 cm high.The scientific name is Centaurea Cyanus.(Tall Blue) This is how the euros look like. The traditional Christmas market. New Years Eve at the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin. Easter Friday and Eater Monday are holidays. This is the Wall of Berlin representing
the German Unity Day. Germany is one of the leading exporters of the world.
Its main exports includes machinery,vehicles(Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi..),chemicals, metals,beer and pharmaceutical products.

With the advent of the cold war, two german states were formed in 1949: The western Federal Republic of Germany, and the eastern German Democratic Republic. Last but not least.........
