Solidworks is a 3d system used to design ideas.
Corel draw is a software that is used to make logos and designs.
The CO2 was the most challenging part to make in Solidworks
because of the complex to the part.
We worked on light switches and then learned how to put graphics on them like flame decals.

This was a very complicated part because of the detail.

We had to design a hull then a motor.
We had to design this in SolidWorks then transfer it to Coreldraw to cut it out.

We had to make a patch with a graphic and mine looked like this (see below).
We had to make business cards and we had to cut them out and the stars to, so adding a Ice cream cone made it look better.

CNC is the most common of CNC milling.

The robots were used to help people and they did not use a remote because the downloaded software. The robots have a camera, speaker, LED's, and a microphone. They designed the whole robot in Solidworks which helped with the cost

How does Robotics play an active role in today's workforce?
Some robots help people do their everyday work
**gusset plates are a thick sheet of metal that connect 2 structure beams together load and bridges bridges are meant to get you from point A to point B but the terrain cant just be traveled regularly so a bridge gets put there for instance a bridge would be placed across a sea . And for bridges to get you across there they need to carry loads such as many many tons of cars crossing at once without your bridge getting worn down and breaking. Tension Bridges under go tension all the time for example when cars go by the cars way some thing witch gives the bridge compression. When the bridge has compression from the car going by the under part of the bridge has tension.truss supports the end of a span a span is the section between 2 intermediate supports
Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest engineering disciplines. The main characteristics are flexibility, breadth, and individuality. You use mechanics, energy, heat, mathematics, and design. When using mechanical engineering you have to use fluid and hypersonic gases because it involves the motion of anything. If you want to become a mechanical engineer you should start taking a lot of math because mechanical engineering involves a lot of math. Mechanical engineering also involves problem solving that apply to many different things. A mechanical engineer also invents roller coasters and rides that you go on when you go to theme parks. Mechanical engineers also earn a well paying salaries.
Ronnie is a teenage skater, who is trying to recruit kids to become skaters. But, he does not have a skate park, that is where the design squad comes in. They offer to build Ronnie and his fellow skaters a skate park in White River, Arizona. He is part of a company called "4Wheels war pony," he had meet the founder Dustin Craig and now they have a friendship. There is many kids getting in trouble because there was a couple skating schools but they got bulldozed. They used engineering when they were design the parts of the skate park like the pyramid and the wave. They also showed how to do the "ollie" which involve alot of science, so when you press down on the back of the board and jump you can defy gravity. I think they used Solidworks to design the pieces of the skate park before building them. They used the design process when building the skate park because they go through all the steps.
A x axis is like the graph you might use in a math problem like graphing a coordinate in a quadrant which is the arrow going up and down. A y axis is like the axis going side to side. But the z axis is like the arrow coming out. A y axis is used for manufacturing products. The x axis is used for graphing coordinates in a graph. But they all meet up to zero on a graph. In Solidworks they show z,x, and y axis very well and that can help you rotate the object. The z,x,and y axis also affect your point of origin in Solidworks.
2.5 gallons of water weighs 16.98 pounds. Structural efficiency has been used to make faucets, water towers, and hydro dam. An example of hydro dam is the Hoover dam on the border of Arizona and Nevada.
Our Robot is has become better because we have had many ideas. We desired a good working robot that could pick up a sack. The robot had to be capable of picking up a 0.5 ounce sack. The hardest part is viability, where we actually had to be able to drive it. We, desired the robot to be 18(width) by 18(length) by 18 (height). The robot also had to be capable of lifting the sack into a 18 inch tray.

Wind Tunnels simulate the wind flow in an engine.
They are also used to test the structure of the plane. The giant fan blows air which tests aerodynamics. By using the simulation NASA can improve the design of the vehicle. The wind tunnels are used to see if the plane can work right. Wind tunnels simulate flight to make sure the aircraft works right. Wind tunnels are designed to get space crafts through the atmosphere and back. Wind tunnels have helped make NASA's space shuttles safer for space trips.

The lowest paying solidworks job is a solidworks drawer, which the salary is 12 to 15 dollars. The highest paying is an enterprise account manager 200,000 to 250,000 dollars.
During the week of 11/25 I have been taking apart pallets for my pallet table.
During the Week of 12/2 I have been bashing apart palets and working on the 3d printer to help my friend Jack make his chair.
What is cnc milling and how is it a benefit to the workface
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control.
CNC milling is efficient,very fast, and cost efficient. CNC mill has the power to turn materials into something important so decreases money wastage. The CNC mill also allows greatly improved accuracy.

Career and Technical education is a way to educate students and adults to prepare them for many different careers in life. This can prepare people in high school about the real world. CTE also addresses many different items including finance, manufacturing, and transportation. CTE also helps to prepare people in careers like arts, architecture, and agriculture. In high school 81% of dropouts say real world opportunities would have kept them in school. A person who has gone through CTE earns an average of 4,000 to 19,000 dollars per year. CTE gives people opportunities better careers and a better life than dropping out of school. CTE offers a wide range of opportunities .

Q. How can technology be used to repair damage caused by natural disasters.
Technology can help people repair damage made by disasters. Also, technology can help rebuild it faster and improve the concept of it. Technology can also help make a design that humans have not thought of or a design a human made and improve it. But, trucks and cranes are also very useful in repairing disasters. Trucks can transport rubble and other supplies to locations. But, cranes can move heavy objects out of the way.
Q.What is Solar energy and how does it work.
Solar energy is energy received from the sun. Solar panels can turn the suns energy into energy we can use. There are 2 types of solar energy: passive solar energy and active solar energy. Passive Solar energy can be used to power a solar blanket which can be used to heat up a pool.
Q. Explain how solar energy moves a vehicle.
The solar panels in the car harness the energy from the solar panels into electricity. Then the electricity fuels the battery in the car's motor. But, instead of the electricity going to a battery then a motor some cars have a electric car. The solar panels use photovoltaic cells (PVC) which turn the energy into electricity. The PVC's are made up of semiconductors which are made of silicon to soak in the light.

Explain how NASA will use 3D printers in space. What are the advantages and disadvantages?
If astronauts need immediate parts in space, then they call Houston and are sent a CAD file. But, if the astronauts had a 3D printer, then they could create the files for themselves. Also, they could model the parts in case they need them to replace an important part.

During the week of 1-27 The projected we received was to design a piece of furniture for the back area. My partner and I created a pallet table, which is similar to my previous one.

Robotics have improved the medical field, by making work easier. In 2005, a snake like robot was created for invasive cardiac surgery. Robots are expensive, but more efficient, because they work fast and do it right.

The de Laval rocket designed to improve the performance of a rocket, by being more aerodynamic. The de Laval nozzle maximizes the velocity of the exhaust. The nozzle is designed, to speed up the combustion products and minimize frictional effects.
