5 Entrepreneurs Charles Richardson Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, San Francisco. He was the founder of Apple and formerly Pixar. He invented the iPhone, MacBook, iPad, etc. These products are important to economic development because they make things that traditionally would take longer and use more space, easier and mostly stress free. Steve Jobs Mark Zuckerberg Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle. He went to Harvard University. He is the co-founder and chairman of Microsoft. His product was economically important because he invented one of the major computer software's that we use today. Bill Gates Charles Strite is the inventor of the toaster. It is estimated that he was born in 1872. The toaster got patented on October 18, 1921. This product was important to economical development because peoples toast used to be soft but now it is hard and toasty. Joseph Gayettey is the inventor of toilet paper. It is not known the actual date of which he was born. He patented toilet paper in 1857. This product was important to economical development because it is a massivelly produced product and it gives people jobs and money. Joseph Gayetty Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984, White Plains. He is one of the five co-founders of the social media network called Facebook. Facebook is important to economical development because people have another way to communicate other than email or phone. Also employers can use Facebook to see if the person they are considering to hire is the right material for the job. Charles Strite
