When Abe Lincoln was working at a little corner market, he was known as "Honest Abe"(Great American History). Every time Abe short changed a customer, he would close the store and would go give that customer the correct amount of change no matter how long the walk was(Great American History). A great example of integrity is set by a man named Pat Tillman(Examples of Integrity). As some of you know, Pat Tillman was said to be the toughest guy to put on a Cardinal football jersey, and he also a walked away from a $ 9.0 million dollar contract with the Arizona Cardinals(Examples of Integrity). The reasoning for giving up such a large contract was that Tillman wanted to go serve in the army along side his brother Kevin(Examples of Integrity). The sudden decision for Pat Tillman was how moved he was during the events and the after math of 9/11(Examples of Integrity). This man served his country not only as a member of the army, but as one of footballs greatest players(Examples of Integrity). In 2003 Pat Tillman was killed in Afghanistan by a friendly fire(Examples of Integrity). He was able to entertain American, then gave his life to keep the country he loved safe(Examples of Integrity). To me that's definition of integrity.
