Podcasting is a way of getting audio or video information out to people, and sharing work with others.
Students or teachers can record lessons, interviews, assessments or any other audio medium for future use. This is then uploaded to a podcast hosting service (lots of free ones are available on-line). This podcast site can then be subscribed to, and new updates are automatically sent to you. www.podomatic.com
