Transcript of Vases in styrofoam

Styrofoam is a trademark of the Dow company, but the material itself is called polystyrene. Styrofoam packaging Styrofoam is used every single day whether it's keeping something safe or used as a box of fun for little kids the bad part is... Styrofoam cannot be recycled :( this means that there must be another way to get rid of the unwanted styrofoam.. Well there's not !So they burn it. When they burn styrofoam the smoke pollutes the air. Vases are one product that uses styrofoam. polluting the air cuases global warming. Global Warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth's near surface air. global warming is already causing damage in many parts of the USA. The old way of getting rid of styrofoam is NOT ok. This is a HUGE problem in todays world. If we don't do anything about this it will cause even bigger problems If people could create a new recycleable styrofoam material it could Save The World! THINK ABOUT IT the only way to make syrofoam stop hurting our planet is to create a totally diffrent material. If we could, we would create a recycleable plastic material. This way you can reuse it.
