Titanium Metals Corporation (TIMET) is the world's largest fully integrated producer of high quality titanium metal products.
As part of ongoing investment in their Birmingham Plant they required a laser survey and asbuilt model. The survey was required to be carried out in a very small timeframe to avoid disruption to the plant.

Once the survey was completed a 3D asbuilt model was created to allow the engineers to virtually carry out design work and simulation of the installation of 2 new furnaces.
