Using two different methods of assessment, identify strengths and areas of improvement in own performance for two different team sports. (P4)

Opportunities
Threats
Weaknesses
What is going wrong?
Are you/others poor at specific skills or techniques?
Have you/others used tactics that are not successful?
Opportunities
What can you/others do next time to improve?
Will you/others practice/train more?
Will you watch others and learn from them?
Strengths
What is going well?
What well-learned skills do you/others have?
What techniques have you/others mastered?
What tactics are you good at?
Threats
What barriers are there taking up these opportunities?
Examples are:
personal problems (time, travel, leisure time)
financial circumstances
injuries
This is when you select different skills needed for the sport you are assessing and give them a score between 1 – 10.
1 Is the lowest and 10 is the highest.

Look at hand out to see how this will look.
Task A,B & C

Watch this YouTube clip then complete the worksheet with partner/small group
Task 1

Complete the worksheet starting with your stronger sport. Make sure you identify your strengths and weaknesses.
Task 2

Identify both your strengths and weaknesses for your chosen 2 sports. Collate this on the Performance Profiling sheet.
Using the SWOT analysis sheet to highlight your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
