Transcript of Which Fruit does Mold Grow the Fastest On?

Materials
Procedure
1. I will buy a few bananas, apples, oranges, and lemons.
Hypothesis
I thought that the fruits would all grow mold within 3 weeks. I thought that the banana would grow mold the fastest because of it's high fructose level.
Results
The results of my project followed my hypothesis. First, the banana grew mold (this was the same in both experiments). Next, the orange grew mold. I didn't think that the orange would grow mold as fast as it did. I thought that the lemon would grow mold last but it did not. It grew mold shortly after the orange. Lastly was the apple. I didn't wait for the apple to grow mold because i didn't have enough time.
Conclusion
My original question was "Which Fruit does Mold Grow the Fastest on?" From my experiment I found out that the banana grows mold the fastest, with a time of 6-7 days, then the orange with a time of 7-9 days. In 3rd place was the lemon with a time of 9 days. Last was the apple. I did not have time to see how long it would take to mold, but it had not molded by the time the banana, lemon and orange had so it came in last.
