Transcript of Ski Jumping

Ski Jumping Ski jumping was invented in
Norway in 1860 by Sodre Noheim. The first first competition of
ski jumping was in Trysil, Norway in 1862. Sepp Bradle was the first person to
go one meter further than the 100 meter
mark in 1936. Since 1988 ski jumpers used the V-shape (keeping skis in a v-shape to maximize lift.) Before 1988 ski jumpers kept their skis parallel. Women have potitioned to ski jump for years,
but it is still one of the only sports for just men.
