Ariana Grande-Butera Ariana Grande Put Your Hearts Up Current Projects Ariana Grande's First Single, Put Your Hearts Up, has been a huge stepping stone in her career. The song talks about how doing the smallest thing for someone can brighten both of your days. The official music video was released on February 14, 2012. The song reached 25 on the US Pop Charts. Ariana Grande was born in Boca Raton, Florida on June 26, 1993. She is of Italian descent, half Sicilian, half Abruzzese. Her older brother, Frankie, was a backup dancer on her first tour. Biograrphy Ariana Grande is best known for her role as Cat Valentine on the TV show Victorious. She dyed her hair red before the show started because the producer did want all the female the characters to have brown hair. She has played this role since March of 2010. Once victorious ends she will continue her role as Cat in the upcoming TV show "Sam and Cat" in which she will co-star with Jennette McCurdy. Ariana is also working on her first album, "Daydreamin" which is set to release in the near future. Ariana has always been loved 50's and 60's pop music and incorporates it into most of her songs. She covered the song Last Dance by Donna Summers, who recently passed away. One of Ariana's top idols is Mariah Carey. Ariana performed All I Want for Christmas is You at the Citadel this past Christmas. Singing Style/Inspirations Early Life When Ariana was younger, she performed as a soloist with various symphonies throughout Florida. She also was invited to sing numerous times in NYC's Birdland. Ariana perfromed the National Anthem at a Florida Panthers hockey game on national TV for the first time. In 2008, Ariana played the role of Charolette in the musical "13" on broadway. In 2010, she played the original role of Miriam in the reading of the musical "Cuba Libre." Ariana has also done covers of numerous songs. Current Projects
