What we have learnt from Emma

"I don't want the fear of failure to stop me from doing what I really care about."
"I don't want other people to decide who I am. I want to decide that for myself."
Why is she a role model?
-She earned around $175 million a year when she was acting in Harry Potter. However, she did not use her money to buy things she didn't need. In an interview she said the most expensive things she bought were a laptop and a car. Instead, she donated a lot of the money that she had earned.

-She has self-respect. While other child stars like Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus has gone on to changing their image by being very inappropriate or getting involved with drugs and drinking, there are almost no news about her involved with these things.

-Even though she has more money than most people that could last her a lifetime and also has a guaranteed career, she values education and did not give up on her studies.

-Portrayed Hermione Granger in Harry Potter, the lead female actress in the Harry Potter series, the highest-grossing film movie of all times.

-She has the #142 most liked facebook page in the world.

-She is constantly tailed by the paparazzi, and everything she does is being written in magazines.

-Many people look up to her, especially young girls.

How influential is she?
Things to improve...
Time Management:
-We did not allocate time effectively. we just began with our project a few days before the deadline, so we didn't have much time left. Also, we put too much time on the design of the power point. Since then, we think we should start earlier next time and manage time evenly so that all works can be done effectively.
Usage of multi-media:
-We could have found more videos about her contributions to the world.
Things we have done well...
We should not do things just to please others. Everyone has their own instincts and we should always follow it.
Don't stop what you are doing or thinking. Always try your best, do not give up easily because of the little failure. Failure is the mother of success.
Reliable information:

-We look for information from many different websites to ensure the information is real and reliable.
Creative Design:
-We tried our best to make this look like Emma Watson's facebook page so it looks more attractive and listeners will not feel bored.
-We get the project done separately. Each person is responsible for different parts of the project, then put it together, so less time was required to finish it.

We may have gone through a lot of failures in our studies. But we wouldn't give up and be scared, we will try our best and this will lead us to success.
Everyone has their own character and position. No one can replace them. Be who you are and do what you think is right.
People have different talents and we shouldn't compare with others. There must be something that we aren't good at, but don't let these judge who you are. Don't let others decide this because there may still have something that others haven't found out on you.
Others may have high expectations on you, but don't let this hem you in. Their expectations maybe based on a narrow, inaccurate view of you. Everyone's value could be different from others.
-Be a true person, not to be pretentious.
-We can donate money to charities to help others that are less fortunate.
-We shouldn't spend our money on unnecessary things.
-Although her acting work is busy, she insisted on completing her studies. We should not give up what we want easily.
-Work hard on everything.
-She’s supported a wide number of charities.
-She had appealed to her fans not to send her any birthday or Christmas presents. Instead, she asked them to donate to UNICEF charity fund.
-She also recently collaborated with artist Mark Demsteader to create beautiful paintings for charity. All of the paintings will help the African charity CAMFED that helps prevent and treat AIDS in Africa.
-She also became a creative adviser for PeopleTree, whichs idea was to help the community by providing jobs for the impoverished communities of Asian countries.
