What does your organization do?
UNICEF means United Nations Children's Funds. UNICEF works for children's rights, also there survival, development and to reach their full potential. It is active in third world countries. They help children from poor backgrounds, also get an education and to live better lives.
Who established your organization? Why?
UNICEF was established on December 11th 1946 by the United Nations. It was established to meet the needs of children in post-war in Europe and China.UNICEF became a part of the United Nations in 1953.
What places does your organization help?
UNICEF helps work is carried out in 191 countries through Country Programmes and National Committees. 88 percent of the country's are third world country's and have eight regional offices and country offices worldwide. UNICEF headquarters are in New York.
How does your organization help?
UNICEF helps by; Feeding children, protecting children from violence and abuse. They also help children with HIV/AIDS. UNICEF works for children's rights, as well as their survival, and expand their opportunities. UNICEF helps children from poor backgrounds get an education and live better lives.
