"...this bull is a bull and this horse is a horse... If you give a meaning to certain things in my paintings it may be very true, but it is not my idea to give this meaning. What ideas and conclusions you have got I obtained too, but instinctively, unconsciously. I make the painting for the painting. I paint the objects for what they are."

Do we have ANYTHING in common?
To be honest, I don't think personally at all we are alike. Maybe besides I like to swim but otherwise NO! I am a pacifist. I don't believe in violence. Also, I don't believe in a dictatorship. I believe in a fair, democratic system where the people are in control. Our lives don't seem anything alike either. I don't have 5 siblings. I am not in an army academy or the youngest general in Europe. Let alone I don't want to. I don't want to rule a country or run an army. I want to be the farthest thing away from ANY battle field if possible.
No, me and Francisco Franco have nothing in common. I am Spanish like he is but I don't think we have any other similarities. First of all, I do not share a similar art taste with Adolph Hitler and I've never dictated Spain. I am also a big believer of having a democratic government, so I would never want a hierarchy. This is because I feel like a hierarchy would give the ruler too much power and it would get to their head and then they would get out of control. Another thing is that I wasn't involved in World War 2, but I am a lover of history.
