Students making responsible choices and becoming interdependent learners in a rich and dynamic learning environment of materials and experiences fashioned in response to their individual developmental needs.
Planting the seeds of this vision in impoverished schools that are lacking in funds, materials or expertise.
Where students learn to make proactive choices in how they respect and love themselves, others and environment in order to create a more peaceful classroom, and by extension, the world. And the fruits of this endeavor?
Certification based on meeting certain criteria such as peacemaking lessons on a daily basis, school-wide conflict prevention/resolution procedures, inherent choice in learning system, etc.
Why do we
need Life Tree
Learning Systems?
Dear Editor,

I want peace on Earth. No more wars. No more anything (violence), just friends. I want animals to be safe. I want peace for all people and freedom for all people. I don’t want anymore terrorist attacks.

All within a supportive,

Integrated Learning Systems are hardware/software solutions designed to deliver instructional content. The effective delivery of that content is measured, monitored, and maintained with an array of assessment and management tools that may also be part of that system.

Welcome to the Cloud!
Wait! What is a 'learning system'?
What is a wiki?
A wiki (i/wki/ wik-ee) is a website which allows its users to add, modify, or delete its content via a web browser usually using a simplified markup language or a rich-text editor. Wikis are powered by wiki software. Most are created collaboratively.
From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki

Notice the references to Wikipedia? This most famous of all wikis, which is visited by over 80 million unique American users alone per month, was started in 2001 and is the 6th most popular website in the world! It is available in 285 languages and written by more than 39 million registered users! Such possibilities were almost unimaginable just a decade ago.

LTLS will utilize both websites where PDFs of lessons/activity cards are stored and an interactive database called Filemaker Pro which can be accessed on laptops by teachers and on iPads by students.

hyperventalation! We've
got a tree to plant!
We require
high school students
to take algebra, which
most of them will never use, so why not teach people skills, character development and conflict prevention & resolution!?! These skills and concepts will be utilized for the rest of their lives...
And maybe, just maybe
They'll find peace

Imagine where
our students, and
our world, would
be if peacemaking
concepts and skills
were taught all
the way
through high school!
By the way, teaching civics or
social studies are great and even
utilizing Intentional Classroom is good, but
do they have the expressed value, purpose and
goal of making peace? Outcomes are tied directly
to our intentions. We can study and learn all about Hitler, but unless we learn how to prevent such atrocities from happening again, we have gained nothing but trivial knowledge...

little to advance the quality

Advantages of the Cloud:
* Accessible to all
* Low cost distribution
* Multiple contributors
* Ease of updating
* Ability to produce hard-copies
There is far too

We must stop
the cycle of

Without roots, a tree will not grow, nor will it be stable. The roots of LTLS will be a non-profit corporation:
* A corporate entity meaning that it belongs to no one person, but to everyone.
* Non-profit because its motivation is not making money, but instead those higher attributes that humans aspire to, such as love, charity and justice for all. (Iustitia Caritas Sapientis)

Is your life more about giving back, instead of just getting? If so, consider joining us. More roots mean greater depth, more strength.
