CHOICE
is about
We cannot become
what we want to be
by remaining what we are.
“One of the biggest management mistakes is expecting things to change while we continue to do things the same way.”
or...
Doing things the
same way
generates the
same result.

THOMAS EDISON
Contrary to popular belief, he didn't
"invent" the light bulb, but rather he
improved upon a 50-year-old idea.
In 1879, using lower current
electricity, a small carbonized filament,
and an improved vacuum inside the
globe, he was able to produce a
reliable, long-lasting source of light.
DON’T CHANGE,
JUST TRY MUCH HARDER!

DON’T CHANGE IT,
IF IT AIN’T BROKEN
A Desk is a
Dangerous Place from which
to view the World!
Square Wheels to triangular Wheel
One Less Bump per Revolution!
Square Wheels DO work
and the team may even meet
its goals.

There are 4 factors that
influence the
probability of change:
change model
1. Attractiveness of the Vision of the Future.
The
View at the Front
is not the same as
the View from the Back of the wagon…

change model
1. Attractiveness of the Vision of the Future.
2. Current level of discomfort with the way things are. Now.
Fear does not create motivation for change.
It creates motivation to escape and avoid.
Fear is not useful in optimizing performance or drive positive change.

Creating a sense of challenge, providing support and making things fun will create the motivation to improve and the willingness to keep trying.

2. Current level of discomfort with the way things are. Now.
3. The individual or group’s previous success with change.

Can you teach the caterpillar to fly?
NO
or at least I would
not know how

Simple, if caterpillars were meant to fly, god would have given them wings.

Yet…..caterpillars DO become butterflies!!
But it takes an ENVIRONMENT that
this process
(food, water, protection, time, etc.)
promotes
YOU have to STOP being a caterpillar if you want to become a butterfly.YOU are to...
thank you!
