Abercombie StarBucks Starbucks was founded by Jerry Baldwin,
Zev Siegal and Gordon Bowker in Seattle,
Washington. StarBucks stores are in several
locations around the world. Starbucks has
been said to have been called the place between
home and work.Because of Starbucks luxorious
theme it has become a popular cofee attraction.
Starbucks is a nice place to go to sit back, relax
and have a nice cup of cofee. Abercrombie and Fitch has over three-Hundered locations throughout the United states. Abercrombie
isn't the only company of it's kind though. Abercrombie and Fitch also own Abercrombie kids, Hollister, Gily Hicks, and Ruehl. It was founded in 1892 by a man named David T. Abercrombie, and was esablished on the fourth of June in 1984. It struggled financially and was eventually bought out by the limited. The company sells clothing items all over the world. Some it's locations include the U.s, Tokyo,Japan, the U.k, and Canada. Investing Advice
Out of my two companies Abercrombie grossed the most. Starbucks had it's ups and downs throughout the few months I watched the stocks. If I had to invest in one of these companies I would invest in Abercrombie because they made the most sales and therefore I see them as a promising investment. I think investing in a larger company would be more promising most of the time because they won't go under as easy. Abercrombie hosts
142,000 employees!!! Starbucks hosts around 170,000 employees! Profit/Loss
I paid $4992.16 for 223 shares of
Starbucks. My profit/loss for this company was +$1112.77. For Abercrombie my profit/loss was +$3052.04. What I liked about the project:
I liked how we got to experience
investing in stocks, and got to
find out how they work. If i had to change the projecti would
have made it shorter, but overall,
I thought it moved smoothly.
