Authors Background
C.S Lewis's real name is Clive Staples Lewis. He was born Belfast, Ireland . He was a Christian man and tied in his religion into his books.
Setting and Conflict
Setting: Narnia
Conflict: The White Witch wants to kill Peter, Susan,Edmund,and Lucy
Figurative Language
1. He had a great white beard that fell like a waterfall. This is a Metaphor. This affects the kid's perspective.
2."S-s-s-sh,"said the beaver,"not so loud please. We're not safe here." This is personification. This shows the kids that the beaver cares for them

The Exposition

In the beginning of this story it takes place in London. The kids (Lucy, Peter, Edmund,and Susan) had to leave their home because of the air raids at their home. Their mother had them sent to a big rural area with their relative in a mansion. On a rainy day the kids had to play hide and seek, Lucy decided to hide in the wardrobe and that is when their adventures began.
Rising Actions
Lucy now in Narnia sees a faun ( a man and a goat hybrid) and he invited Lucy over. While Lucy was over he had played a flute like instrument and it made her fall asleep and he had reported her to the White Witch. He had felt bad and let her escape. She had come out of the wardrobe and told her siblings,but they didn't believe her and Edmund teased her. Next time she went in and Edmund had followed. He met up with the Witch and he would lead his siblings to her house. Later they both left and Lucy found out he had been into Narnia. Next time all the kids went in they had to hide because the maid was coming. They all came to Narnia and a some beavers brought them to their home, but Edmund escaped and told the witch that they were all here. They ran away to escape the witch and meet Aslan.
The three kids were made rulers of Narnia and soon forgot about the real world and grew up as kings and queens. They finally discovered the door and went back to the real world.

They finally reached the stone table to meet Aslan. They had sent a search party and took Edmund back to camp, but the witch had hidden. Edmund had been forgiven. Then late at night, Aslan went to the stone table to talk to the witch but, he was he was killed, but he was revived. He lead his army to battle the Witch and the won.
