The Universe Our planet, among all the others, revolves around the milky way galaxy, our home
Earth
This is our planet, mother earth.
Earth is the third planet from the sun and
is the fifth largest planet.
It is also the largest
of the 4 terrestrial planets. The moon
This is our moon. It is the fifth largest satellite in our solar system.
It is also the largest moon in the solar system.

The Sun The sun is a star in the middle
of our solar system.
The suns colour is white, but from
the earths atmosphere it appears
to be yellow.
It is made of gases. Mars Mars is the 4th planet from the earth.
It is also known as the 'red planet'.
it is named after the roman god of war, Mars. Mercury
Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system.It orbits the sun once every 87. 969 days. Jupiter Jupiter is the
5th planet from the sun,
and the largest
in our solar system. Jupiter is classified as a gas planet
among uranus, saturn & neptune. Neptune Neptune is the
farthest planet
from our sun.
it is the 4th largest
planet by diameter. Neptune was discovered on september 23, 1846 Uranus Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun It was named after the greek god deity of the sky. Saturn Saturn is the 2nd largest
planet in our solar system
and 6th from the sun.
Saturn is mainly made of hydrogen and a
small proportion of helium. Venus Venus is the 2nd closest planet to the sun. Its named after the greek goddes venus, of love and beauty. After the moon it is
the brightest natural
object in the sky. Pluto Pluto is the second
largest known dwarf planet Pluto is made up of rock and ice, and is relatively small. The End.
