A Fair and Free World What is a fair and free world? How it relates to God
and our catholic beliefs and faith Quotes I have a dream that my four little children
will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character.
-Martin Luther King Jr. Equality How it relates to our
beliefs Video By: Natalie and Lina A fair and free world is when everyone is treated and accepted all equally and the same. Fair: just, honest, in
accordance with rules.
Freedom: The power or right
to act, speak, or think as
one wants. Living in a fair and free
world means to live freely;
to act on one's wishes and
to be treated fairly. Racism is still with us. But it is up to us to prepare our children for what they have to meet, and, hopefully,we shall overcome.
-Rosa Parks Everyone is treated right
Quite a fair group they are
Usually this is not true
After all we all share
Living in this one world
If we all can get along
Then our lives will be better
Yours and mine are intertwined Video Fair Freedom Everyone is entitled to a social and international order in which the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration can be fully realized. Everyone deserves to be
able to live in a a fair and
free world; which means
no discrimination to be able to
do as they wish and to have freedom. As Catholics we believe God has created us all equally. No matter what skin colour you are, how you look, or what you wear, just remember we are all equal. God wants us to love everyone as if they were your brother or sister, and no matter what treat other the way you would like to be treated. God has made this world for us to live in freedom and fairness, not being kept away, tortured or any thing else. He has made this world for us to live freely and follow the path he has chosen for us, not to torture other people. This relates to our beliefs because we are told that God has created this world for all of us to live in and we must respect one another and to treat each other as we would wish people to treat us. We are also told that God wants us all to respect each other and to be kind, just, and fair so that we can all get along together and be able to live with one another on this earth. Equality Fairness Freedom What is not a fair and free world? We are violating this Human Right just by doing what we do in our everyday lives.Which is when we do not let everyone be free and equal. We do it all the time, everyday, without even realizing it. Not letting people join you in a game and playing unfairly are just some examples. What is not equality? Equality is violated when we do not Respect,Care,or Love people. It is like we are treating each other as if we don't exists. We are all different and unique people
but that doesn't mean we aren't equal. How can we help? We can help in many different ways.First we can take part in charities of different kinds that support people suffering.Second we can donate clothes, money, and many different things. There are MANY different ways we can help. All we need is to take it step by step to change the world. Now what? Now that God knows that you know how you can help he expects us all to try and help change the world, little by little. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can still make a difference by trying. All this world needs to do is try and have faith in God that one day we will be able to live in a world that lets us ALL be fair and free and live happily as God intended this world to be. Thank you!
