Transcript of Should Marijuana be Utlilized Medicinally?
Medical Cannabis (marijuana) refers to
the part of the plant used as the form of medicine. The Cannabis plant has a long history, dating back to as far a 2737 B.C.E. It is prescribed for a broad range of symptoms such as cancer, ADHD, and migraines. However, some people believe that there is no medicinal use in Marijuana because the plant doesn't meet the requirement for standard medicine. They argue that Marijuana has many negative health effects.

Support or Reject?
I reject the idea of marijuana being utilized medicinally. While medical marijuana may help some cope with pain, it is more harmful than helpful for most. The disadvantages easily outweigh the advantages. Further, there is no scientific evidence that marijuana is actually effective. It is unknown what can happen if used long-term. With that information I support the idea of medical marijuana being illegal.
