The Lover archetype is used often in different medias, from movies to music to literature. The lover is almost always used as the protagonist in books and movies and in music is often the center focus in a song.

In literature, the media and life, love is the driving force which leads to both melancholy and euphoria.
Definition of the Lover
The lover is a passionate human being who is finely attuned to the realm of the senses and worships beauty. The lover is a musician, an artist and a lover of all things, both inner and outer. The lover is all about the relationship, sensuality and sexuality. The lover is someone who wants to experience the world as one big union, the hearts of people uniting as One.

~The impotent lover is one who is deeply depressed and feels isolated from the rest of society. They have lost all happiness and love in their life.
~The addicted lover is one who constantly searches for someone to love or is addicted to loving something so much that the addiction leads to insanity.
