Eohippus began to appear 50MYA. Its name mean “dawn horse“ and it was the earliest-known horse. It was the size of a tiny dog. It was a grazing herbivore that ate soft leave and plant shoots. It lived in the Northern Hemisphere and the first fossils were found in England.

Peak Oil
Economists have suggested that oil production peaked between 1970 and 2010. It is estimated that at the current rate of consumption we will only have enough oil to last 40 years.
