Transcript of Does texting affect your language?

Does texting affect your language? People use "ur" instead of "your", "brb" instead of be right back etc. I don't think that those type of texts affect your language. However I sometimes write like that in my essays and not notice it. I don't think that anyone texts using proper english! Texting is really popular these days, its almost imposible walking down a street or standing in a mall without seeing someone text! Even though schools don't like texting and think it distracts students from studying, children text and text and text. Scientist have made an experiment and proved that students that text get better grades at school/ university. In fact, some scientist are even glad that students are communicating so frequently through writing and are creating their own language.
