Transcript of Your Independent Project

Your Independent Project Think of something you really - something you are passionate about and want to learn more about. Come up with an essential question. What is that? It's a question that will lead to discovery. It isn't a yes
or no question - you want it to lead to deeper answers than that!
Maybe you want to know
how animals know when to hibernate
or migrate? Maybe you are interested in space and want to learn about comets. Maybe you like to cook
and want to understand the
chemistry behind mixing certain
items together. Talk about your ideas with your
family. See what they think. Once you know your topic and question you can begin your research. Read and gather as much information as you can. Use the library, internet,
interview people, take surveys,
visit places - whatever it takes to
learn about your topic! Take good notes and keep
all your information well
organized - don't lose it! Put all your knowledge
together in a creative way. You
decide how! When you are ready
to share let me know!
