How Events Work
Life, Personal, and
Social Science
Here's a rundown:

WSSL (West Suburban Science League)
Monthly meets - every second Thursday of the month from September - February
Maximum 32 people per meet

Science Olympiad (THE BIG ONE!)
Annual state-wide science competition
March 21, 2015
Maximum 20 people on the school team

Invitationals
MIT Invitational: January 17 2015
Yale Invitationals: January 24 2015
We got 3rd in the state last year. NOW WE'RE AIMING FOR GOLD!!
Final state team has limited space: 15 people max with 5 alternates; max of 7 seniors total

Requirements to get on the final team:
Attend AT LEAST ONE WSSL meet
Be active and present in our Sciteam meetings and workshops
Perform well on our midyear event practice tests

Event studying starts ASAP!!
