Founded in 1893 at Lombard College, in Galesburg, Illinois by ten young women.
Sigma Nu Fraternity is the founding brotherhood.
The Delta Chapter at Bethany College was founded in 1903 as the 4th chapter in the nation.
ΑΞΔ is one of the oldest women's fraternities in the U.S.
