Leaves and Light
PREDICTION
I predict that:
* the leaves won't absorb the colours
* the leaves are not going to reflect the absorbed colours
* maybe because the svotvh tape won't work
In this procedural write-up you are going to be learning how to make a Leaves and Light Experiment. This will take 6-10 days to compete.
* Clear Glad Wrap
* Permanent Markers: red, green, blue, yellow and black
* Black Construction Paper
* Scotch Tape
* Healthy leaf (6)
*Sunny window area
AIM
The aim of this experiment is, how colour wavelengths are created and how colours are absorbed, reflected and refacted on a leaf.

INTRODUCTION
MATERIALS
METHOD
1) Grab the Glad Wrap and wrap your 6 leaves
2) Colour your Glad Wrap with permanent markers (red, green, yellow, blue, black & leave one clear)
3) Cut your leaves into 6 squares (3 vertically then cut in half)
4) Place 2 squares of the SAME colour tape along all the side
5) Place the leaves one at a time. Try to space out the colours
6) Tape the open side, shut with scotch tape
7) Put the leaves in a sunny window area and rotating each side for 1 week
OBJECTIVE
In this experiment you will test if the colour or wavelength of light will affect the green pigment content of a leaf.
Why I Chose to do this Experiment
I wanted to do this because I thought that it was different and that I could try a new experiment.

CONCLUSION
I have come to a conclusion that you have to patient with your experiment to work. The one that I have completed at home has been a success, the colours have absorbed completely and there’s nothing left on the Glad Wrap. My predictions were wrong.
