Transcript of Facebook Prezi Final Project

Facebook was first created in 2004 by a Harvard Sophomore, Mark Zuckerberg. At first he made it available to all Harvard students, then to all colleges and high schools. Facebook has become the most popular social networking site and is being used by all different age groups. It allows its users to create groups, add applications, make invites to events, post statuses, blogs, pictures, videos, and much more. The biggest reason why people enjoy using facebook is because communication with others is so much easier.
The threat of personal privacy posed by large databases and computer networks are existant. Facebook is open to almost everyone. People can find almost everyone. The plugins are embeddable social features that can be integrated into a site with a line of HTML. and more.
